It's All About Water - Day 1:
Placitas as we know - "It's All About Water"

Las Placitas Association has just learned that the "It's All About Water" Film Festival is coming to Albuquerque soon and thought Placitas residents might want the details.

"Films and Conversation" a two-day film festival and public forum, will explore concerns about the pollution of our waters and water sustainability, including panel-led discussion of issues in the Southwest, New Mexico and Albuquerque.

Friday films: 'Natural Gas from Shales: Some Myths and Realities,' 'Split Estate,' and 'Tipping Point'

Saturday morning: 'Liquid Assets', and 'American Southwest: Are We Running Dry?'

Saturday afternoon: 'Water for the World Act of 2011,' 'Tapped,' and 'Blue Gold.'

Where and When:

Friday and Saturday, February 10-11
South Broadway Cultural Center
1025 Broadway Blvd. S.E.

Friday 4:45-10pm
Saturday 9am-5:30pm

Admission is free and light refreshments will be provided - but bring your own lunch and water in a sustainable container!
