State Land Commissioner Candidate Forum :
LPA will host a forum featuring the candidates for Commissioner of Public Lands. Each candidate will be allowed a short speech. We will finish the forum with questions from the audience. Come join us with your questions for the candidates, learn about this extremely important elected state position, and meet the candidates. The forum will be held in the Town Council Chambers at the Bernalillo Town Hall, 829 Camino del Pueblo (enter at the north door).

Two-day Wildlife Tracking Workshop:
Pathways: Wildlife Corridors of NM will be holding its semi-annual training course for volunteers who would like to help gather data for our "Citizen Scientist" wildlife track and sign monitoring program n March 13 & 14.
This course is sure to enrich your ability to experience and at the same time, help protect nature.
The "track and sign" portion (one day) of the training will be taught by Casey McFarland, who is one of the few certified specialists in track and sign in the whole country. Please bring your own lunch, snacks/drinks will be provided.
The cost for this training is $75.00 for the whole weekend. Workshop will be held at the Placitas Community/Senior Center.
